People often ask for a list of school rules. At Beechmont school we have one rule and that is our school motto, 'At all times consider others'. This rule covers every situation as we can always ask, 'Did that behaviour choice consider others?'
Our Responsible Behaviour Plan (PDF, 2MB) goes into more detail as to what to expect at Beechmont school.
There are additional resources which detail more explicit rules for children to follow, these include Some visual signs that appear throughout the school, (PDF, 492 KB) and expanding on our school motto, At all time consider others, (PDF 32KB). These are regularly discussed with the children throughout the year.
All classes regularly work with the Positive pieces, which covers: Confidence, Persistence, Organisation, Getting along and Resilience.
Our Uniform policy (PDF, 53 KB) details the requirements children have to adhere to when coming to school on a normal school day as well as 'Colour days'/non uniform days.
Our Parent handbook (PDF, 89 KB) gives our new parents valuable information about procedures at the school.
Travelling on one of our school buses means that children have to follow the Department of Transports Code of Conduct for school bus travel. This is followed strictly by the drivers of the school buses.
Payment procedures (PDF, 11 KB) need to be followed so that your child has the correct amount of payment credited against their name so that they don't miss out on camps, excursions or other school events.
